With a live band in place after recruiting live drummer Matt Michael along with Jomar C, Wrath Of Killenstein burst onto the New York City metal scene with a complete gothic horror themed stage show designed to fit any venue large or small in the grungy NY area underground and fetish clubs... ultimately signing on to perform at massive events like The Milwaukee MetalFest (with the Misfits) and shows with the Genetortures at Gothstock in Hartford , CT and L'amour in Brooklyn , NY.
Two of the bands songs "The Raptus" and "Igniisis Dance" were then featured on DM / Sky records compilation "From The Shadows....Metal for the Modern Era" along with The Dillinger Escape Plan, Mastodon and Anthrax.
Killenstein released "Wrath Of Killenstein MMVI", a re-vamped, polished re-working of the original demo CD released several years earlier with an added bonus track.
In 2010 Wrath of Killenstein's "Igniisis Dance" was featured in Electronic Arts “BRUTAL LEGEND” starring Jack Black with Tim Curry, Ozzy Osbourne, Lemmy and Rob Halford. Billed as the “Greatest Metal Soundtrack EVER!”..along side top metal artist such as Judas Priest, Black Sabbath, King Diamond, Cradle of Filth, Rob Zombie, Marilyn Manson,Motorhead,Slayer and more...prompting mentions in USA Today and countless other media outlets worldwide .
A special edition Wrath Of Killenstein enhanced CD was released featuring the original songs from MMVI plus two new live tracks and three videos. Currently in the studio finishing up their full length follow-up CD, the band has now unveiled a preview of their new material on the latest Wrath Of Killenstein EP - “UGLY". The new release is the bands first studio disc featuring veteran drummer powerhouse John "Servo" DeSalvo ( KMFDM tour 97-2000/ Chemlab/16Volt / BILE). In addition to "Demoniaxed", "Pigsticker" and title track "Ugly" the EP also includes a blistering cover of Black Sabbath's "Electric Funeral".The band's new UGLY vid was listed by FEARNET as one of the top ten Horror-themed videos of the year.
Wrath of Killenstein has introduced new bass player Dave Sussman ( formerly of BILE) at Spring Stampede 2013 in White Marsh, MD and headlined a WSOU radio event as well as recent a metal festival at the legendary Stone Pony in New Jersey.
Fearnet named the band's UGLY video as one of the best10 best horror metal videos and also premiered
the band's latest video "ST.7000" and the new single is now available on iTunes.
